Mold temperature, whether cooling or heating is required, is very important to the molding process. Uniform molding temperature affects:
  • Cycle time.
  • Part quality and appearance.
  • Optical quality.
  • Shrink, stress, sink, weld lines, just to name a few.
Therefore, the molder must be able to measure, regulate, and control temperature both at the injection molding machine, as well as the mold.
